Oscar winning actor Ben Kingsley plans to play The Mughal emperor Shah Jahan and Aishwarya Rai as Mumtaz Mahal in his upcoming film ‘Taj’ Sir Kingsley had discussed about this role with Ash during their 2007 movie together, The Last Legion.
The actor said that his wife Daniela Barbosa de Carneiro would play Shah Jahan first wife and Aishwarya will play as Mumtaz Mahal, the film revolves around the making of The Taj Mahal , the loneliness of Shah Jahan and the love he carried in his heart for the woman he loved till his death. The shooting of the film will start by the autumn of 2010.
